Two years ago I bought a condo on the ocean – and spent the following months having it totally gutted, to the studs…Thankfully, I was fortunate to be introduced to the most amazing contractor: Trevor Lanphear at Lanphear Builders, Inc. Upon meeting and initial discussions, Trevor offered to take on my project, with its possible and probable myriad surprises, quirks, complications and challenges. We both took the leap, and shook hands. I then left town!  This was, by far, the scariest and ultimately most satisfying experience I’ve had.  Who gets to actually live in their dream?  Thanks to Trevor and team, I do.

I have worked with Lanphear Builders on numerous different projects. From ground up construction, major remodels to various home repairs and improvements. Each phase is well explained and options are given. The whole team is talented, thoughtful and come prepared to get it done right the first time. This fact alone sets them apart from many others. Their commitment to excellence is amazing. They are my “go to” for all things construction. Highly recommend.

I’ve heard of build nightmares my entire life & believe most folk that decide to build have a fear that it’ll be a dog fight to get what they want & have it done in a truly professional manner. Really an industry with a deservedly bad rep. Not so with Lanphear Builders – they are one of the most professional group of people I’ve ever dealt with, of any profession ! We came to Trevor & his group through my in-laws who had him build their house 2 yrs ago & it is one of the most solid construction jobs I’d ever seen so we didn’t hesitate to involve Trevor in our build. Can’t say enough about their level of professionalism, the quality of all the trade work done, skills at problem solving & recommendations for us & the level of trust we were able to place in them to build a one of a kind home for us !! If you are building or remodeling you at least owe it to yourself to consider this group – highly recommend them!

Trevor has taken care of my home for several years. During that time, I have found him to be professional and honest in his dealing and excellent in his workmanship. My home is wonderful condition because of his skills and attention to details.

The Lanphear team performed extensive renovations to our beach cottage on Figure Eight Island and were superb in service, quality and craftsmanship-all while supply chains disruptions were rampant. The project manager and crew could not have been accommodating while we shared space over the summer months. They kept us abreast of progress with weekly communications and came in right on budget. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them in the future.

Lanphear Builders constructed our current home. We had five previous homes built and this is the finest quality by far, although not the most expensive. Trevor and his team are highly professional and a pleasure to work with. He is a man of his word and stands behind his work. We most highly recommend Lanphear Builders for any of your construction needs.
